From 1st until 11th September 2020 I participate in ‘kontakt’ group art exhibition at the gallery of T.A.F./the art foundation on 5, Normanou Street in Monastiraki, Athens. To the call of art historians Ioanna Antzaka and Marina Ziavra, who curate the exhibition, I respond with two new artworks, a sculpture and a painting.
With my trash-sculpture I translate the current condition of intensified exclusion and imposition of restrictive measures in our already mechanised lives while, through the painting, I extend a creative call for renovation of a world that is waning.
Each visitor is invited to touch the painting and extract a piece from it, interacting in the artwork’s final composition.
The exhibition will be open every day (except on Monday) from 17:00 to 22:00.
